Boreham Woods PASE Scholars were given a real treat on Monday night, as five of their Academy coaches played a massive part in ‘Woods’ 5-2 demolition of a previously unbeaten Eastbourne Borough, to move to the top of the Conference South Division.

Every student who enrols at Boreham Woods Academy, not only get top class training facilities but get top class coaching from licensed coaches, who all still play at a good level and who have all been pro’s.

DSC_7902Our Academy boys also get a ‘free’ season ticket to all of ‘Woods’ Conference South league games and a choice of College campuses and training sites, that best suit their ability, courses and where they live.

The 5 star victory over Eastbourne was made all the sweeter, as it was witnessed by over 50 of our PASE students and with England playing on the same night, it was a massive show of support for Academy Director Luke Garrard and four of the Coaches, namely Mario Noto, Ricky Shakes, Matty Whichelow and Ryan Hope, who all played a massive part in the victory and really appreciated the lads attendance on the night.

Manager Ian Allison said “there’s a real feel good factor around Meadow Park at present and that goes all the way from the Academy lads right up to the first team dressing room. The Academy Coaches genuinely put a lot of thought, care and work into their boys, so for them to see the lads reciprocate that with their support tonight, honestly gave them a lift and I think we saw that in their performances” he concluded.

Anyone who wishes to trial for our Academy PASE Scheme should contact the club on 0208 953 5716 for more information or fill in the application on our website at www.borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk
