WOOD MOURNING THE LOSS OF ONE OF ITS OWN

1 January 2023

It is with great sadness and a huge sense of loss that Boreham Wood Football Club has learned that our Community and Football Club have lost one of our most loyal supporters in Laurence Pelling who has, after a long illness, left this earth far too soon at just 61-years-old.

Laul is survived by his wife Angela, who worked at the Club as it’s Bar Manager for more than 10 years, and their four children; Lloyd, Callie, Lewie and Laurie.

The Football Club wishes to send their family all our heartfelt condolences along with our genuine love and prayers. With the permission of the family the Club will now look to celebrate Laul’s life, and his lifelong support of his local Football Club, before our FA Cup 3rd round game against Accrington Stanley on Saturday, 7th January, and within the matchday programme.

Trust us, Luke Garrard and the dressing room will be doing everything in their power to give him and the family the win that Laul himself would have expected.

“FAREWELL, OLD FRIEND”

OUR CLUB. OUR TOWN. OUR COMMUNITY.
