WE COULDN’T, COULD WE?

This Saturday is one of those prominent dates in the Non-League football diary each year, as it’s FA Cup 1st Round Proper day and Boreham Wood are there once again. We again welcome our National League rivals Eastleigh to the LV BET Stadium Meadow Park for the second year in a row at this stage of the competition.

Last year we overcame the Spitfires 2-0, setting up a historic FA Cup run beating St Albans City 4-0, AFC Wimbledon 2-0, AFC Bournemouth 1-0 before bowing out at Everton 2-0 at Goodison Park in the last 16 of the FA Cup.

With your support surely Luke and the dressing room couldn’t do it again, could they? We know if we are to give ourselves any chance of that, we are going to need everyone’s help, and as it’s November 5th, we’ll need your voices to help us create fireworks.

Last year’s FA Cup run was full of Club and Community memories and nobody knows what lies ahead if we are to overcome Eastleigh on Saturday afternoon. So, if you fancy another cup run get yourselves, your family and your friends down to Meadow Park on Saturday and let’s see if we can get a cup run started…
