VACANCY: MATCH DAY COOK

Boreham Wood FC are looking for match day cook to join our growing catering and hospitality team here at Meadow Park.

The position is to cater for our new OSCARS hospitality suite which caters for up to 40 people on match days, including home and away directors, sponsors and paid guests. The successful candidate will lead and run the kitchen on match days. Experience in working in a busy kitchen is desirable, whilst candidates should hold a valid food hygiene certificate, although training and assistance throughout the certification process can be provided.

The menus are not complicated or overly excessive, though the chosen candidate will join an already established hard-working and enthusiastic team.

Hours of work can vary from game-to-game, depending on varying kick-off times, but in the main are 10am to 6pm for Saturday matches and 4pm to 11pm for evening games.  Salary for this position is also very competitive but dependent on experience.

In addition to the match day cook position, the Club is also opening a brand-new bar/eatery and function suite, which will act as the Club’s home fan zone on match days, with construction set to be complete in readiness for the new 2023-24 season. As such regular shifts and opportunities for match day and function staff will open up over the coming weeks, again with competing rates being paid.
