WOOD PRE SEASON LOOKING GREAT

Boreham Wood Football Club have today announced an impressive array of home pre season friendlies throughout July..

These games are against very prestigious football clubs, who have all agreed to bring their full first teams to Meadow Park..

It has also been announced that the club will once again host an Arsenal Xl side, that is always packed with young Arsenal internationals from around the globe. This annual fixture does produce the stars of the future, always produces goals and it makes for a great occasion for all concerned..

Wood Chairman Danny Hunter said “Over the years we have cemented partnerships and made so many great friends within the professional ranks. They have once again shown great generosity and kindness to both myself and our very appreciative football club”..

“Having secured our National League status, our supporters can now have the early summer off to watch England in the Euro’s before we ask them to get back down to Meadow Park to enjoy what we hope will be a fabulous pre season”..

Hunter finished by saying “In the meantime we must ensure that our stadium renovations are completed in a timely fashion and that our award winning pitch is once again in tip top condition.
