NEW FIRST TEAM COACH APPOINTED

23 September 2015
JUNIOR LEWIS

Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce that Junior Lewis has agreed to become our first team coach following the departure of Mario Noto.

Junior has had a distinguished playing career, that took him from a humble non league beginning at Hendon to the very heights of the Premiership with Leicester City..

Upon his retirement from playing, he went straight into coaching and took up the reigns as reserve manager at Wycombe Wanderers. Since then he has coached at a number of professional clubs including Bradford City where he assisted Peter Taylor and at Leeds Utd where he assisted David Hockaday.

Junior has since August of this year been coaching during the day with our PASE Academy. With day time training sessions for our first team now becoming part of everyday first life at Meadow Park, it is seen as a natural appointment by Wood manager Ian Allinson and his assistant Luke Garrard..
