INTERNATIONAL | WOOD KEEPER CALLED UP AGAIN

9 May 2019

Congratulations to goalkeeper Ryan Huddart on receiving his latest call up to the England C squad for their upcoming friendly fixture against Estonia on Wednesday June 5.

Manager Paul Fairclough has named a 16-man squad and Huddart will join up with his England C teammates in Bedfordshire on June 3 before flying out to the Estonian capital of Tallin the following day.

The Three Lions last met Estonia as recently as October 2018 in which a solitary Alfie Pavey goal was enough to see out a 1-0 victory for England. The C team’s most recent contest was a 2-2 draw against Wales at Salford’s Peninsula Stadium back in March.

Huddart arrived at Meadow Park from Arsenal in the summer of 2018 and has gone on to establish himself as the Wood’s number one receiving many plaudits for his performances between the sticks.

Here is the squad in full:

Ryan Croasdale (AFC Fylde), James Hardy (AFC Fylde), Wesley Fonguck (Barnet), Ephron Mason-Clark (Barnet), Ryan Huddart (Boreham Wood), Matthew Lowe (Brackley Town), Ben Killip (Braintree Town), Alex Brown (Buxton), Luke Trotman (Darlington), Kurt Willoughby (FC United of Manchester), Jon Mellish (Gateshead), Thomas White (Gateshead), Isaac Galliford (Hitchin Town), Mitchell Dickinson (Hythe Town), Connor Stevens (Wealdstone), Joe Rowley (Chesterfield)

Everyone at Boreham Wood Football Club wishes Ryan and England C all the best in their upcoming fixture with the National Team.
