GOOD LUCK, DANNY!

Boreham Wood FC can confirm that forward Danny Elliott has joined Vanarama National League counterparts Scunthorpe United on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.

Danny arrived at LV BET Stadium Meadow Park in the summer of 2022 from Boston United as part of Luke Garrard’s summer rebuild. Danny has found regular game time hard to come by with the Wood this season, which lead to a successful spell on loan with Gateshead during December and January.

Danny’s form whilst on loan in the North-East prompted Luke Garrard to recall Danny, however this seemingly ignited serious transfer interest from four different clubs, with Scunthorpe United, who have recently been taken over, making a substantial bid for Danny this weekend, which was subsequently accepted by the Club.
