THE PASSING OF WILF FRANCE

Boreham Wood Football Club have learned in the last few days the passing of a fantastic club servant in striker Wilf France. Wilf enjoyed great success at the club in the 60’s and early 70’s especially under old manager Mick Hunter where he gained two amazing promotions and was a firm fans favourite.

A full club eulogy in regards to Wilfs career at the Wood will appear in a future programme but for now we would like to send our condolences to all of Wilfs friends and family at this very sad time.
