SUNDAY LUNCH TO RETURN TO THE WOOD

31 July 2015
TEAM APPLAUSE

With many supporters clubs within the new National league operating various ‘boost the budget’ initiatives for their clubs. We have been thinking of initiatives for our club, that our supporters might consider as good ideas and able to support.. As such we’ve come up with an idea, that will begin for the Arsenal v Chelsea Charity Shield on Sunday, 2nd August.

Boreham Wood Football Club will launch our first ‘Soccer Sunday’ supporters scheme, to help boost Ian Allinson’s playing budget.. Basically we are asking our fans and their friends from around the town, to enjoy a Sunday lunchtime drink at the club and watch the football with us.. We want our supporters to consider coming down to the club and we are simply calling it ‘Soccer Sunday’..

If successful it would boost Ian Allinson’s playing budget and would allow an extra player or two?? We will of course have SKY SPORTS AND BT SPORT available and as we already have eight flat screen TV’s available, that will ensure you will not miss a kick. We will also provide a few nibbles and bites for our patrons and if you do give us your support, we’ll even explore opening up a catering provision.

So why not help us to recreate a local pub atmosphere at your local club?? For us to be successful, we are asking you to commit to attending our ‘Gallery Suite’ and using it as your ‘Soccer Sunday’ watering hole of choice, at least 10 times over the whole season.. Our aim will be to provide you with a good service, a vibrant atmosphere and if we can achieve that, then everyone’s a winner.

All the while, you will know that the money you are putting over the bar, is helping support the gaffer Ian Allinson’s budget and that may in turn help us to establish ourselves in the new National Division.

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
