SEASON TICKET SALES NEARING 450

Boreham Wood Football Club would like to thank all our supporters who have renewed their season tickets for the new season, as well as all those new supporters who have purchased their season tickets with us for the very first time too, as season ticket sales near 450.

Wood Chairman Danny Hunter said, “For a relatively small community football club who have just suffered a relegation, I think on reflection that’s a really great effort from the Wood Army and our wider community. I hope in the next three days that we can go above 450 and even nudge toward 500 by Saturday in readiness for our opening home League game against Bath City.

“To put those sales into context, the last time we were in National League South, we won promotion as a part-time club and had just 37 adult season ticket holders, so already our support base are backing us this season and I’m very thankful.” Hunter concluded.

There are great benefits that come with season tickets, for example heavily reduced match costs, free online match programme and other giveaways or offers that include a free replica shirt for certain age groups, 10% off club shop purchases, 10% off function suite hire and 10% of Glass House drinks on matchdays, amongst other things.

We hope to see you and all our local families on Saturday, we hope you will like our new Head Cpach Ross Jenkins, we will hope you like the return of our old skipper ‘Ricko’ as Ross’ assistant, we hope you will like the improved squad, the new brand of attacking football and hope you’re happy with our summer facility works and ground improvements. There appears to be a positive attitude amongst our support base this pre-season and confidence is building in anticipation of a successful new season.

COLLECTION

Loretta Browne, Ticketing Manager, will ensure that all season tickets purchased by midday on Saturday 10 August will be available to be collected in time for the season’s opener.
