Biography

Starting his footballing career at AFC Wimbledon, Femi made his first team debut for the Wombles at just 16-years-old before moving to Queens Park Rangers in 2008, joining up with their under 18’s side. After just a single season at Loftus Road, featuring for both their under 18 and reserve sides, Femi joined Ashford Town in 2010, where after just 12 appearances his performances earned him a move back into professional football with then League One club Dagenham & Redbridge.

Ilesanmi spent four years at Victoria Road, establishing himself as a key player at left back for the Daggers. Femi later played for York City in League Two, making over 70 appearances for the Minstermen before joining Boreham Wood in August 2016. After a short stint at Dover Athletic, Ilesanmi resigned at Meadow Park in June 2018 and has been a mainstay in the Wood side ever since.
