NEW PROGRAMME PRINTING PARTNERSHIP

1 January 1970

Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce a new printing partnership with local Borehamwood based company Kellmatt.

Kellmatt will be the new programme producers for the club for the 2018/19 season.

Boreham Wood pride ourselves on working with local businesses and this is yet another example, with Kellmatt also taking a sponsorship package with the club and advertising in the match day programme.

Beginning as a family business, Kellmatt were formed in 1992, producing self-adhesive labels for VHS cassettes.

The company have since grown vastly, and produce everything from posters, banners, digital prints, business cards, flyers, brochures, football programmes and stickers.

They produce print and deliver across North London to provide the total print solution package.

Company Director Matt Weir, who took over the company from his mum two-and-a-half years ago, explained: “I joined the company 21-years ago, starting out in the warehouse and working my way up, learning every facet of the organisation.

“It all took off one day when a client asked if my mum knew anyone who could do the printing of the sleeves for the VHS cassettes and she said yeah of course.

“She put the phone down and went ‘crickey, how do we do it haha’. She then picked up the yellow pages to find a local printer and we were able to do it and all of a sudden, we were managing, buying and selling print.

“As our usage has grown, we have invested in the machines ourselves and brought it all in house. We have a full in-house design studio and we do probably 90% of our own deliveries in our van, we never say no to anything.”

Matt continued to explain why he is so delighted to be working with their local football club, saying: “We are absolutely delighted. There is nothing better than working with local companies and supporting one another and that definitely includes our local football club.

“It has nothing to do with who your football allegiances are with, it is about the local community supporting each other. You will definitely see us at a few games this season, we will be there supporting the Wood.”
