MATCH PREVIEW: HENDON (A)

30 July 2024

After a thrilling clash against Chelsea XI on Saturday, Ross Jenkins’ men made it 3 games unbeaten, as the Wood gear up for the start of the National League South campaign. A Charlie O’Connell master-class from midfield saw the spoils shared, after the number 15 scored a hattrick, including a 25-yard screamer to open his Boreham Wood account. Ross Jenkins’ men will now look to keep this positive form going as we make the short trip to Hendon this evening.

Our hosts for this evening currently compete in the Isthmian League Premier Division and should provide the Wood with a firm test this evening. Having finished 10th last season, Lee Allison’s side will look to push into the top half of their division this campaign. Over the course of their 42-game season, Hendon finished with a point total of 58 points, winning 14, drawing 16 and losing 12.
