Team News

Danny Woodards came off against AFC Fylde following a late clash, but is expected to make Tuesday night.

Kane Smith, Keiran Murtagh, Jamie Turley, Tom Champion and Paul Benson all made starting debuts against AFC Fylde and will be hoping to keep their places on Tuesday night.

With a number of options available on the bench, and a hectic August schedule, Garrard could opt to change his side for the clash with the Daggers.

Form Guide

The Wood will be happy to return from Lancashire with a point in a game that could have swung either way.

However, they will be looking for their first win of the new campaign when they return home on Tuesday night.

It will be the first competitive fixture on the club’s new DESSO pitch and they will be hoping to use the expensive surface to their advantage.

A 2-1 win over Barrow got Dagenham and Redbridge’s season off to the ideal start, with Michael Cheek and Corey Whitely both netting for John Still’s side.

From the Dugout – Luke Garrard

“We are at home so I want to get on the front foot, that is something that I was looking at improving from last year.

“We have come away from yesterday having scored two goals away from home and that is something that we didn’t do enough last season.

“Yesterday we looked like we could get goals across the park, if your two wings backs are scoring and then you add your two strikers and your man just in behind, it can only be improve.

“I think that we will have to see what Dagenham have to offer, they won 2-1 yesterday, so they will be positive and they will be confident, but we will assert our authority and go from there.”
