MATCH PREVIEW: BOREHAM WOOD VS MACCLESFIELD TOWN

29 March 2017

Wood are back at home this coming Saturday, when FA Trophy finalists Macclesfield Town travel to Meadow Park.

Wood’s current home form has been good of late with victories over Dover and Lincoln and draws against Guiseley and Bromley. Luke Garrard will be hoping much of the same continues on Saturday as Wood look to cement a place in the top 12.

Wood have a remarkable feat of only conceding 4 goals in their last 10 league home games, with the last goal being scored by York City back in Mid February. Hopefully after 5 against Dover and 2 against Lincoln the Wood can find their scoring boots.

The Silkman who are sitting comfortably just outside the play-offs will feel disappointed that they have fallen away having been there or thereabouts for much of the season, although they do have an outing at Wembley to look forward to in May for the FA Trophy final.

Macclesfield come into the fixture on the back of two defeats and with the Wood loosing to Southport on the weekend both managers will be desperate to get back to winning ways.

As ever your support has been fantastic this season and we hope you can come and get behind Luke and the players.

It is also a BWFC in the community day on Saturday, so please see below and if you can come along have some fun, it will be great to see as many kids as possible take part.
