MATCH PREVIEW: BOREHAM WOOD VS BROMLEY

1 March 2017

After a run of just one win thirteen league games, the last coming against Torquay United at Plainmoor back in early January, Wood have gone from being a side chasing a play-off spot to a side that if its not careful will be dragged into a relegation scrap.

A real problem has been scoring goals and just 7 goals in thirteen league games highlights where Luke Garrard’s side have gone wrong. The gaffer has brought in Tom Hitchcock and Jason Williams to support Morgan Ferrier in an attempt to add to the goals for column however as of yet it has failed to fire.

Bromley come to Meadow Park in similar form having lost 6 of their previous 10 outings including a 5-0 thrashing by Braintree Town on Tuesday evening whilst having Lee Minshull and Daniel Johnson sent off, and the pair will miss this Saturday’s fixture.

Garrard will be hoping that his side can replicate the performance against Sutton United at Meadow Park, where free flowing and attacking football saw the Wood run out 5-0 winners.

The players more than ever need your support so please get behind the management and the players as they look to return smiles to the faces of the Wood Army.
