MATCH PREVIEW: BOREHAM WOOD VS BROMLEY

3 October 2013

Next Saturday’s visitors have made a dream start to the season. They are currently just one point behind the seemingly invincible Eastleigh, with a four point cushion between themselves and third place. In addition The Lillywhites have scored twenty three goals already in nine starts, giving them a goal difference of plus fourteen, a statistic that even Eastleigh cannot touch!

The only points they have dropped so far were against the best two sides we have faced to date, Eastleigh and Stortford and both of those defeats were away from home, leaving their 100 per cent home record intact.

Goals are coming from all areas but the real stand out contribution is coming from manager Mark’s own son, Bradley Goldberg. His loan spell from Dagenham and Redbridge has bore fruit with six league goals to his name so far. In fact Bromley have the top two leading scorers in The Skrill South in their ranks with Pierre Joseph-Dubois also having found the net on six occasions.

Our Donovan Simmonds has three league goals to his name despite not having featured regularly. His F A Cup goal last Monday  was technically the best of the season so far so let us hope the rejuvenated defence does its job to allow Simmo to increase his tally this Saturday !

Boreham Wood v Bromley, Saturday October 5th, kick off 3pm.
