MATCH POSTPONED: ROCHDALE (A)

Boreham Wood FC can confirm that tomorrow’s Vanarama National League fixture at Rochdale has been postponed following a pitch inspection.

The inspection, conducted this afternoon by an independent match official, determined that the playing surface is in an unplayable condition due to the rainfall over the weekend, including during Rochdale’s Saturday’s match against Solihull Moors. Additionally, there is further heavy rainfall forecast before kick-off tomorrow.

We want to thank Rochdale for taking a proactive approach in scheduling the inspection well in advance, considering the welfare of both teams and their supporters to prevent unnecessary travel.

A rescheduled date for the fixture will be announced in due course. Any purchased match tickets will remain valid for the new date. Supporters have the option to request a refund for their tickets, which will be processed once the new game date is confirmed.
