LET’S GET DERBY DAY SOLD

With just Braintree Town to come, away in the league on Saturday… It’s time for our Media and Communications department, to remind everyone that for the first time ever, we will be playing our near neighbours Barnet in a league game at 1pm on Boxing Day, here at Meadow Park.

Although this eagerly awaited derby is NOT ALL TICKET, it will be cheaper for all supporters to pre-purchase their match tickets. Tickets can be brought up until midnight on Christmas, but after that, it will be pay on the day for all fans at the home and away turnstiles. Please note, the match will be segregated.

Ticket sales at present, show that Barnet fans have pre-purchased 514 tickets, while Boreham Wood fans have purchased 153 tickets and on top of that, Boreham Wood have over 600 season ticket holders.

As such, we already know that we will break our highest ever Boxing Day league crowd, and we are in truth, hugely excited to be welcoming our friends from Barnet Football Club.

So, we want the supporters of both clubs, to get the best deal, and purchase their match tickets at the cheaper price. Let’s do our best to create a great sporting atmosphere, let’s enjoy the first ever league game between Boreham Wood and Barnet, and hopefully we’ll see a great game of football and have a great footballing family day…

Tickets are to sit, or stand. Both home and away ticket allocations include 400 seats in the away end and 700 seats in the home section. These are on a strictly first come first served basis and cannot be reserved.

Once purchased, tickets are available to download to supporter’s phones, are accessible on the Ticket Arena app, and can also be printed at home and brought to the game for entry.
