GARRARD’S BACKROOM TEAM CONFIRMED FOR 2022/23 SEASON

Boreham Wood FC are delighted to confirm Luke Garrard’s backroom team for the 2022/23 Vanarama National League season.

The current backroom line-up of Lloyd Doyley (Assistant Manager), Martin Brennan (Goalkeeping Coach), Connor Smith (Player/Coach), Gabriel Segall (Senior Therapist), Ellen Fender (Academy Therapist) and Loretta Browne (Kit Manager) are all returning for next season, whilst our part-time interns Brandon Bevans, Reggie Tyler and Jordan Nathan will now be returning next season on a full-time basis to head up the Club’s Sports Science and Analysis departments.

Following on from these very important building blocks being put in place, our Head of Football and First Team Gaffer Luke Garrard, who recently signed a new three-year contract extension earlier this month, is thrilled that his backroom management team has been strengthened for next season following our historic 2021/22 campaign which saw the Wood capture the imagination of the nation by reaching the last 16 of last season’s Emirates FA Cup.

Manager Luke Garrard had this to say upon the confirmation of his backroom team for next season, “I am really happy to get all the staff finalised for the upcoming season. We have been on an unbelievable journey since we all started together last year and we want to continue that for this coming season.

“We are a young, vibrant group that has a great bond together, but we also have a hunger and  professionalism to want to strive to improve, too. I want to thank the Chairman for investing in the Sports Science and Analysis departments as I feel this will be huge for us to progress next year…” Garrard concluded.

Lloyd, Martin, Connor, Ellen and Loretta, we are delighted that you are remaining with us at the Club for the 2022/23 campaign, whilst we also extend a warm welcome to Brandon, Reggie and Jordan who are now to be employed at the LV BET Stadium Meadow Park on a full-time basis.
