ENGLAND COME CALLING FOR ELLERY

Boreham Wood would like to congratulate goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe on his latest call-up to the England Under 20s squad. 

The on-loan Brentford stopper will join up with manager Paul Simpson and the rest of the squad for their fixtures against Switzerland and Holland.

The call-up is a reward for Balcombe’s fine form since joining the Wood, and with the Brentford youth team prior to his loan spell.

The young goalkeeper has been by England at both Under 18s and Under 20s levels, and was famously part of the Three Lions team that won the 2017 Toulon Tournament.
