EARLY BIRD SEASON TICKET EXTENDED FOR THE FINAL TIME

Boreham Wood FC are delighted to announce that following our record-breaking attendances this pre-season, and after consultation with our ticketing team and Fan’s Liaison Officer Grant Morris, Chairman Danny Hunter has decided to once again extend our early bird season ticket offer until Thursday 10 August, just two-days prior to welcoming FC Halifax Town to the Mangata Pay UK Stadium Meadow Park for our first home Vanarama National League game of the season.

This decision has been made following an illustrious pre-season friendly schedule resulting in nearly 10,000 total spectators, 9,669 to be exact, coming through the Meadow Park gates across our five pre-season friendly matches against Watford, West Ham United, Brentford, Chelsea XI and Arsenal XI.

With this in mind, the Club has decided to extend the early bird season ticket offer for the more casual the Wood supporter or a recent Meadow Park visitor, who have enjoyed their Boreham Wood and Meadow Park experience this pre-season. The early bird season ticket offer includes incredibly discounted season ticket prices, amongst the cheapest in the division, as well as a FREE replica 2023/24 home shirt.

Upon extending the season ticket offer for another 10-days, Wood Chairman Danny Hunter said, “Our season ticket sales target for 2023/24 was to sell in and around 850, and we’ve now sold 863. Our home crowd target for our home pre-season games was 7,500 and we actually went beyond 9,500. So, we think we should keep prices down and give away even more FREE replica Wood Army shirts, which along with our community initiatives, soccer courses and with a final promotion and push means we might go through the 900-season ticket sales barrier for the very first time and that would be simply outstanding for a small club and town of our size.”
