DAVID HUTTON JOINS FROM THE GLENN HODDLE ACADEMY

21 October 2011

Boreham Wood are pleased to announce the signing of David Hutton from The Glenn Hoddle Academy.

David, who is twenty one year old midfielder, started his career as a trainee at Tottenham Hotspur. He went on loan to Cheltenham Town from Spurs in March 2009, and he scored his first league and Cheltenham goal in a 1-1 away draw at Peterborough United in April 2009.

That summer David signed a one year professional contract with Cheltenham under Martin Allen, but was released, along with seven other players, in May 2010.

David then trialled at a few clubs before subsequently joining the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain.

Everyone at Boreham Wood welcomes David to the club, and hope that his stay with us is a successful one.
