CLUB STATEMENT: MATCH DAY SEGREGATION

4 September 2018

Having spoken to and taken advice from various bodies, including the safety advisory group, our safety officer, our chief steward and the Herts Constabulary police, Boreham Wood’s match day arrangements and policies for the fixture against Chesterfield on Tuesday, September 4 (7.45pm) are as follows.

Tuesday’s match against Chesterfield will be segregated and the bar will operate on a home supporters only basis.

Ever since the club’s promotion to the National League, the Wood have strived to ensure that matchdays are run safely.

This allows for an enjoyable and family oriented day for all attending.

Having sought advice from experts and experienced members of the league, Boreham Wood believe that segregation is the best and safest way to operate on Tuesday.

WE RESPECTFULLY REMIND SUPPORTERS

A)  Tuesday’s home match will be segregated.

B) Home supporters are reminded that entry to their allocated home seating and terracing areas, will be via the club’s car park located in Broughinge Road. However, due to the limited space, parking in the club’s car park on a match day, will only be available to players, match officials, visiting directors and the club’s match day staff.

C) We respectfully remind all supporters that the adjoining Brook Road car park, is a large council owned car park. It has ample parking for most games and is the nearest public car park to our Meadow Park ground.

D) We respectfully remind all supporters that our club bar, is a strictly home supporters only premises and that no away supporters will be allowed access on Tuesday.

We thank you all for your co-operation in advance and continue to look forward to welcoming fans from all over the country to Meadow Park.
