Boreham Wood FC’s Media, Ticketing and Commercial teams, as well as our Fans Liaison Officer Grant Morris, all met last night along with our Safety Officers and we are now more than ready, and indeed very excited, to have agreed our ticketing and match day operations planning.
One of the biggest concerns was how to sell tickets fairly, and distribute our 2,500 available allocation, as well as how St Albans City would like their 1,000 ticket allocation distributed. After discussions with our Saints counterparts, this is now agreed and tickets will go on sale at 9am this Friday.
The LV Bet Stadium Meadow Park capacity for this Emirates FA Cup tie has been set at 3,500 and that will allow for full segregation, with no compromise made, to ensure both home and away fans safety and that the match day experience is of the highest level possible…
Our home supporter’s allocation has been set at a maximum of 2,500, which includes 900 unreserved seats in both our East Stand and half of the fully segregated West Stand.
The away supporter’s allocation has been set at a maximum of 1,000, which includes 360 unreserved seats in the fully segregated West Stand.
The away fans ticket allocation will, as requested by St Albans City, firstly be offered to their season ticket holders via our online ticketing platform and will be overseen by our Media and Ticketing team, who will continue to liaise with their Saints ticketing counterparts. St Albans City season ticket holders will be given instructions on how to purchase their match tickets over the next two days by St Albans City.
BWFC’s normal online match day ticketing service will also offer all of our existing Adult, OAP and Under 20 season ticket holders, as well as black card members, the first chance to purchase their Emirates FA Cup match ticket requirements (maximum four home tickets per person), on this Friday and there will be a three-day window to do so before tickets go live to our local community, schools and clubs on general sale…
Please note that all of our existing season ticket holders and black card members, like their St Albans City season ticket counterparts, will be sent an email explaining how they will gain pre sale access on either Thursday or Friday. The season ticket holders window for both sets of supporters (and black card members for BWFC) will begin at 9am this Friday, continuing throughout Saturday, and finish at 6pm on Sunday.
After that time, all remaining home and away Emirates FA Cup match tickets will go on general sale to both clubs until their allocations are sold, please note all postcodes of purchases will be checked and double checked for security reasons…
For all pre-sale tickets please follow the instructions that will be sent to your email address and we look forward to seeing everyone for this exciting Hertfordshire Non-League derby, with the winners going onto the 3rd Round Proper and a chance to play one of the Premier League’s big boys…
