Academy update

6 December 2024

The club is delighted to share some promising news coming out of our BW Pase Academy, with a number of our young prospects looking forward to a bright footballing future. As such, three Academy Players are going out on loan.

Adam Morley, Daniel Isaac and Keanu Fleming have all been given permission to go on loan to Southern League Division One Central side, Leverstock Green. The trio have already featured in first team action for the Wood with Adam Morley and Daniel Isaac featuring during pre-season at Meadow Park and all three making appearances in our 5-1 victory over Enfield in the Herts Senior Cup.

Morley, Isaac and Fleming will no doubt gain valuable experience in competitive, first team football with their move to the Hemel Hempstead based club, each providing the latest example of our Academy player pathways.

The club is also thrilled to announce that BW Pase Academy product, Morianne Busse has been awarded his first team squad number. The goalkeeper will wear the number 25 for the Wood.

First Team Goalkeeper Coach Jordan Kelly commented, saying: “A squad number isn’t something that’s just handed out, it’s earnt. Morianne has shown consistent levels of performance within the academy.

“This has enabled him to train with the first team, make a first team appearance in the Herts Senior Cup and now earn himself the number 25. For me, it highlights what hard work and improvement, as well as professionalism, both on and off the pitch, can do.

Morianne provides another great example of our Academy player pathway. I’m immensely proud of his achievement and hopefully he can build on this.”

Well done to Adam, Daniel, Keanu and Morianne! Keep up the brilliant work.
