FORM GUIDE

Barnet– L-D-W-L-D

Barnet are currently in a poor run of form and sit 2nd bottom in the league form table. On the 25th of November they faced a local derby away to Wealdstone, after taking the lead twice in the game, Wealdstone on both occasions levelled the score, going into the 90th minute both sides had two goals apiece. Then in the 90+8th minute Charlie Barker bundled home a last minute winner and Grosvenor Vale erupted.

The Bees bounced back and earned an impressive replay against League Two side after a 1-1 draw thanks to an 89th minute Danny Collinge equaliser. Howver in the replay that followed Newport came away 4-1 winners.

In between the FA Cup, Barnet welcomed National League South side Maidstone United in the FA trophy and comfortably won 4-0.

Most recently they travelled to Ebbsfleet and after going 1-0 up thanks to a Nicke Kabamba goal, Ebbsfleet scored an equaliser on the 80th minute from a Ben Coker own goal.

ONES TO WATCH

Nicke Kabamba signed for Barnet in June 2022. The 6’3” centre forward joined on a permanent basis following his departure from NorthamptonTown. In August 2015, Kabamba signed for Hampton & Richmond Borough and scored 18 goals in the 2015/16 season, becoming the club’s top scorer. Stints at Portsmouth, Colchester United, Aldershot Town and Havant & Waterlooville followed before Kabamba signed for Hartlepool United in 2019, scoring five goals in his first four starts. This season he has been one of the stand out performers in the National League as he eyes up the golden boot race, he currently sits on 14 goals in his opening 23 matches.
