The Wood welcome Rochdale to the Mangata Pay UK stadium Meadow Park for our first home game since we welcomed Barnet on the 2nd of September. On the back of an important win against Maidenhead on Saturday thanks to a Tyrone Marsh penalty, Luke Garrard and his side will be looking to build on that result tomorrow against an inform side.

Rochdale finished bottom of League two last year meaning they were relegated to the National League. They have had an ok start to the campaign picking up 14 points in their opening nine games meaning they currently sit 7th in the table.

Rochdale faced Barnet on Saturday who sat top of the division. Thanks to two first half goals from the inform Sinclair they led at the break 2-1. In the second half goals from Harvey Gilmour and Ian Henderson ensured an impressive 4-2 victory. Prior to that game Rochdale were on the back of a 1-0 loss at home to Halifax Town and a 1-1 draw against Kidderminster Harriers.

ONES TO WATCH?

Tyrese is a forward who joined Dale in July 2022 after a successful spell on trial during the early weeks of pre-season. Tyrese spent the second half of last season on loan at Scunthorpe United, against whom he scored twice on the day he signed for Dale in a 4-1 friendly win at Glanford Park. Tyrese Sinclair has started this season on fire scoring seven goals in nine appearances, he is a player that possess real pace and has an eye for goal.
