CHAIRMAN EXTENDS EARLY BIRD SEASON TICKET OFFER

Wood Chairman Danny Hunter has extended the clubs ‘early bird’ season ticket offer due to the enforced delay in announcing the clubs fifth home pre season fixture.

The Chairman said “it’s only fair on our supporters, with the fifth home pre season fixture still to be announced and hopefully the Wood Army think July 4th is a good date, as it might help a few people who get paid at the end of the month to jump on it? It also extends the offers and discounts right up until the day before our first pre season game at home to a very strong Watford team.

“I think when we announce our fifth friendly, everyone’s going to be very happy about it and will understand why we’ve had to be very patient with this one. This extension will also allow me to ramp up our local schools and local community schools initiatives and incentives…..and get the new free home and away replica shirts to people, as they also form part of our season ticket offer and are also arriving next week.

Hunter concluded “so with us fast approaching 600 season tickets sold, we are well on course to hit our target figure of 850 season tickets sold by the time our first game of the season comes around on August 5th”.
