After five consecutive play-off finishes between 2017/18 and 2021/22 with National League North promotion challengers Brackley Town, Lee arrived at Meadow Park in the summer of 2022 with an impressive goal scoring record at step two of the Non-League pyramid.
In his first season at Meadow Park, Lee played an instrumental role in the team’s progression to not only the third round proper of the Emirates FA Cup, but also our sixth placed play-off finish and advancement to the National League play-off semi-finals. Lee finished the 2022/23 campaign as the club’s top goal scorer with an impressive 16 goals in 45 total appearances across all competitions. Lee’s impressive goals tally included an important goal in our FA Cup third round match against Accrington Stanley to force a replay, as well as three goals in our play-off campaign against Barnet (2) in the eliminator match and Notts County (1) in the semi-final, proving that he is the man for the big occasion, popping up with important goals in the big moments.
