The Wood are back at home this Saturday, April 6 (3pm), when we welcome Sutton United to Meadow Park in the National League. Here’s our preview…
Match Details
Boreham Wood Football Club have now moved onto an online ticketing system and ticket details can be found HERE. Ticket prices are as follows: Adults £18; OAPS £13, under 16’s £8 and under 12’s £4 (subject to booking fee).
These prices are to sit or stand. The West and East stands are seated, and the North and South ends are standing.
We advise that all supporters planning to attend BWFC matches at Meadow Park, purchase tickets beforehand.
Once purchased, tickets are available to download to supporter’s phones, are accessible on the Ticket Arena app, and can also be printed at home and brought to the game for entry.
Tickets will still be available to purchase on the day of the game, but at an increased rate of £2 (£3 for U12s).
For home supporters, cash payments will be available on the East Stand turnstile, and card payments in the Gallery Suite bar. Away supporters will also be able to purchase tickets on the away gate in the West Stand, with cash.
The match will be segregated, and the nearest public car park is stationed in Brook Road and adjacent to stadium.

Form Guide
The Wood won last time out, beating Barrow 2-1 away from home in an impressive and battling victory.
Keiran Murtagh put the Wood ahead in the first half with a stunning free-kick, that curled into the top corner.
Justin Shaibu then doubled the Wood’s advantage from the spot, with a coolly converted penalty.
Barrow pulled one back before half time, but Garrard’s men were able to hold out for a valiant victory on the road.
The win gives the Wood a nine-point advantage over 21stplaced Havant & Waterlooville, in their battle to avoid the dreaded drop zone.
Assistant Manager Ian Baird is currently in temporary charge of the Us, as manager Paul Doswell takes a break away from football, for personal reasons.
The side sit in 10thplace in the National League, just six points off the play-off places, on 61 points.
They have won one, lost three and drawn once in their last five fixtures, but remain in the hunt for the play-off places, going into the end of the season.
One to Watch – James Dobson
The left-winger joined from Slough Town in January, having impressed Sutton boss Doswell in his sides’ FA Cup clash with Slough in November.
Dobson has hit the ground running at Sutton United, with two goals in nine starts since joining.
The winger is a set-piece specialist and the Wood will want to be wary of his prowess in dead-ball situations.
Dobson has also previously played for the likes of North Leigh, Harrow Borough and Aylesbury, where he finished as leading scorer on two occasions.

“We played them in the semi-final of the play-offs last year, and they then went and recruited ever so well in the summer, when they brought in the likes of Dale Bennett. During the season, they’ve then topped that up with players like James Dobson and Dylan Kearney.
“They have got personnel in their ranks who can cause you problems. They’re robust and they are big and strong, with the likes of Jamie Collins and Dean Beckwith in their backline. Then you have got the organisation of Craig Eastmond in the centre of park.
“On our side, we know that the job is nowhere near done and until we are mathematically safe, we need to make sure that we continue with that consistency.
“We know that we need to carry on the habits that we showed last Saturday against Barrow and on the Tuesday before against Solihull Moors.
“Football is all about confidence. To go and put on the standard of performance that we did against Solihull, gave us a confidence.
“That allowed us to go and back that up with a win away to Barrow, when we showed what we have got in the tank, in terms of playing and pressing them. We need to make sure that we deliver and are consistent with our performances.”
