AWAY DAYS: MAIDENHEAD UNITED

With the Wood Army fanbase growing significantly, we want to help to ensure that our supporters find a way to each of our away games.

Luke Garrard and the squad will need as many of the Wood Army at our National League match against Maidenhead United as possible, to help cheer them on.

As such, we have compiled this easy to follow guide on alternative travel to the match against Maidenhead United, which takes place Saturday at 3pm.

The best station to travel to is Maidenhead Railway Station, which is located less than half a mile away from their York Road Ground. It is just a ten-minute walk to the main entrance.

The station is served by trains from London Paddington, which can be reached from London St Pancras, via the Hammersmith and City Line. The trains run around every 10 minutes and take between 30-40 minutes.

London St Pancras is just a short train ride from Elstree and Borehamwood station, with trains running around every half an hour.

You can also drive to Maidenhead and it takes just over an hour to get there, depending on traffic.

There is no parking available at the ground itself. However, there are plenty of pay and display car parks around the nearby town centre, including a multi-storey at Nicholson’s Shopping Centre (£4.10 for 4 hours) on Broadway.
