The Wood are back at home this Saturday, October 20 (3pm), when we welcome Dagenham & Redbridge to Meadow Park, in the Emirates FA Cup. Here’s our preview…
Match Details
Boreham Wood Football Club have now moved onto an online ticketing system and ticket details can be found HERE. Ticket prices are as follows: Adults £18; OAPS £13, under 16’s £8 and under 12’s £4 (subject to booking fee).
These prices are to sit or stand. The West and East stands are seated, and the North and South ends are standing.
We advise that all supporters planning to attend BWFC matches at Meadow Park, purchase tickets beforehand.
Once purchased, tickets are available to download to supporter’s phones, are accessible on the Ticket Arena app, and can also be printed at home and brought to the game for entry.
Tickets will still be available to purchase on the day of the game, but at an increased rate of £2.
For home supporters, cash payments will be available on the East Stand turnstile, and card payments in the Gallery Suite bar. Away supporters will also be able to purchase tickets on the away gate in the West Stand, with cash.
The match will be segregated, and the nearest public car park is stationed in Brook Road and adjacent to stadium.

Mark Ricketts was the first of Luke Garrard’s injured contingent to return last Saturday and the Wood gaffer has confirmed that at least two more will be back in contention on Saturday.
Form Guide
The Wood ended their mini winless streak on Saturday, in the match against Maidenhead United, with an impressive, albeit scrappy, 3-1 win.
Garrard and his side will have been pleased to be back amongst the goals at Meadow Park, with Keiran Murtagh, Joshua Umerah and Justin Shaibu all getting in on the act.
The result moved Boreham Wood up to 11th in the National League, going into the FA Cup weekend.
Plenty have spoken about the lack of importance of form going into cup competitions, but the win will have boosted spirits amongst the squad regardless.
His penalty goal against Maidenhead was Umerah’s sixth goal of the campaign, while Murtagh netted his third this season, from midfield.
Managed by 65-year-old Peter Taylor, Dagenham & Redbridge have struggled so far this season, sitting in 22nd place.
They are without a win in six matches and may see the FA Cup as a welcome break away from league football.
Amongst the Daggers team are a number of former Wood players, with Alex Davey, Ben Goodliffe, Ollie Harfield and Ben Nunn all previously playing for the club.
One to Watch – Matt Robinson
The Daggers’ team has changed to varying degrees so far this season, as Taylor attempts to improve their fortunes out on the pitch.
One mainstay of the side though is midfielder Matt Robinson, who alongside Will Wright, is one of just two outfield players to have featured in all 16 matches so far.
Robinson, who began his career in the academy at Leicester City, played a vital role in Luton Town’s Conference Premier title success of 2013/14, before going on to feature for them in the Football League.
He cemented his position in the Daggers’ midfield last season, with 32 league appearances, having joined them in May 2016. Robinson has also had spells at Kidderminster Harriers, Grimsby Town and Woking.

“It is nice to come away from your bread and butter of the National League, but it is another game that we want to win and another game that puts us on the right road to winning habits.
“For me, Dagenham come here as a different side to the one who came here on the first day of the season.
“But, we have come a long way since the first game of the season, we are learning a lot about each other and about where we are going as a football club.
“Dagenham have played different personnel and different shapes in the last three games, so we have given the players no surprises come Saturday. We know what they offer up and how they go about their business.
“The form guide goes out of the window, it doesn’t matter. When you are a kid and watching the FA Cup on the TV growing up, it is an illustrious cup competition and to be a part of it is huge.
“I want to achieve history again for this club and Saturday is the start of that.”
