‘MOD’ERN SPONSORSHIP DEAL AGREED

Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce a brand-new partnership with Mod Pizza, Borehamwood.

MOD Super Fast Pizza originated in Downtown Seattle, America, in 2008, by Scott and Ally Svenson. The pair were inspired by their love of authentic Italian street pizza and the UK Mod movement of the 60s and 70s.

Having proved such a success in America, MOD have now brought their restaurants to the UK, with one situation in the centre of Borehamwood.

Their Borehamwood based restaurant is situated at 61 Shenley Road, WD6 1AE. 

Their aim is to create restaurants where busy families can go for a quick, delicious and affordable meal and they certainly don’t disappoint.

As part of the deal, every Boreham Wood season ticket holder will receive a free Pizza, as will our half-term soccer course children.

The first team will also receive free pizzas four times a year and they will even get an opportunity to take over the restaurant and cook, with all proceeds going to our nominated charity.

MOD Pizza themselves will receive excellent exposure in the local community and beyond, with football fans and businesses from across the country seeing their advertisement boards, programme adverts and their advert on our website.

Boreham Wood commercial manager Mandee Morris said: “MOD’s reputation within the local community has quickly grown and they have now become one of the go to places in Borehamwood, for a tasty, and affordable meal.

“We believe that it is an excellent deal for both parties, and the fact that the first team will get to take over the restaurant during the season and cook pizzas, with their chosen charity – who will receive the proceeds – should make for an excellent day.”
