Form Guide

Boreham Wood are now unbeaten in eight matches in all competitions.

Last time out, the Wood made it into the Second Round of the FA Cup for just the second time in their history with a historic 2-1 victory against League One outfit Blackpool.

Garrard’s side are currently sat in tenth place in the Vanarama National League, but remain just one point outside of the playoffs.

Hartlepool are unbeaten in six league matches, having recently hit form. The Pools beat Torquay United 2-0 away in the last round of fixtures.

Managed by 39-year-old Craig Harrison, they currently sit in 12th place in the National League table.

From the Dugout – Luke Garrard

“They are on a good run, it is six unbeaten in the league, and he has gone and gotten himself the Manager of the Month award.

“They are a tough test, and anyone would have assumed that both them and Leyton Orient would bounce straight back up, with the calibre of personnel in their ranks, but that’s not to be.

“They sit level on points, but a few places below us, and they are on a good run at the minute, but so are we. We are unbeaten in eight now and on the back of a good win against Blackpool and we want to kick on from that.

“We are both on good runs, and we will see who can use that on Saturday. But, we will be playing for the win and I can imagine that Craig and his side will too.

“Training this week has been buzzing, and off the back of the win on Saturday, they have come in to work this week and we have been very confident in the way that we go about our business.

“But, I have made no bones about it, this is our bread and butter and we have got to make sure that we don’t come in thinking that it is just going to happen because we have beaten a League One side, because Hartlepool possess real quality.

“I want to march on, and I said to the group today, we have got to look at the next four games and really try and get in and amongst it.”
