MATCH PREVIEW: BOREHAM WOOD VS LINCOLN CITY

20 March 2017
Preview

Wood welcome top of the table Lincoln City to Meadow Park on Tuesday evening for the second time this season.

Lincoln’s last visit to Meadow Park was just a few weeks ago in the FA Trophy where they knocked the Wood out of the competition with a 2-0 victory. Although Lincoln come to Meadow Park having been knocked out of the FA Trophy by York City after extra time on Saturday.

Luke Garrards side go into the game in good form having not lost in their last four games whilst also not conceding in that time also.

A win would also take the Wood back up into the top 10.

Lincoln who are chasing promotion are in their sixth season at this level, their longest ever spell outside the top four divisions, in which time they have never managed to finish higher than 14th. This just shows the remarkable job the Cowley’s are doing at Lincoln.

We could also see the return of Lee Angol who has joined Lincoln City on loan from Peterborough United, with the former Wood striker scoring a hat-trick for the imps on his National League debut.
