MATCH PREVIEW: BOREHAM WOOD VS DORCHESTER TOWN

8 January 2014

Six pointer season continues this Saturday when Dorchester Town make the trip to Meadow Park.

This will be a close encounter as there is little to choose between the two sides at present. The Magpies have been bottom of the League for some time now, yet remain firmly in contact with the rest of the struggling pack. Their recent form mirrors ours, two wins and two draws from the last seven matches.

Neither side have played since December 28th, when both sides finished their respective matches with reduced numbers. As a consequence Town will be without three of their personnel, all red carded during their visit to Weston Super Mare, whilst we will lose the services of Greg Morgan and Mark Jones whom both saw red against Bishops Stortford on the same day.

With Town just six points behind ourselves but with a game in hand it needs no explaining how important this game is for both sides.

One to watch for the visitors will be Charlie Lossaso whom we encountered at a stormy Whitehawk just before Christmas, where he was certainly their man of the match.. The AFC Bournemouth wide man has recently penned a three month loan deal with The Magpies.

Come on The Wood!

Boreham Wood  V Dorchester Town.

Saturday January 11th, kick off 3pm.
