The BW PASE Academy is absolutely delighted to announce SCL as our Academy’s new education partner for the next two-years.
The BW PASE Academy was a pioneer in sports and education when it started back in 2002 and has since become the number one sports and education programme in the UK. When the Academy formed over 19-years ago it’s mission and values were simple; to create an environment for 16-19-year-olds to progress within both sports and education surrounded by first class facilities and resources. We wanted to stop talented young individuals from falling through the net and give them a chance to progress their talent with top quality coaching and education.
Our Academy teams up with SCL, who began their own journey at a similar time to the BW PASE Academy in 1999 and have also grown and developed over the past two decades to become leaders in sports education. At their offset, SCL’s vision was to positively impact the future prospects for children and young people all over the UK, creating legacies for the communities they serve. 20+ years later they have become the leading provider of sports education in the UK.
So as such, as the BW PASE Academy and SCL announce our new and exciting partnership, today marks a hugely significant day in the history of the BW PASE Academy as we embark on our latest journey with our new partners SCL.
Upon teaming up with the BW PASE Academy, Director of Partnerships at SCL Lawrence Blair commented, “I am delighted that we have entered into a new and exciting partnership with Boreham Wood FC’s renowned BW PASE Academy to deliver their education programmes. Both SCL and the BW PASE Academy share the same values, drive and passion for education excellence and ensuring young people have the best opportunities to develop academically, physically and mentally, preparing them for the future.”
BW PASE Academy Head of Football Luke Garrard had this to say on the Academy signing a two-year contract with SCL, “I am really excited about the announcement of the BW PASE Academy partnering with SCL, as they have a longstanding history and reputation of excellence within the sports and education space.
“I have been impressed with how they deliver their educational provision and the care I know they will have for the new BW PASE Academy recruits. We already boast a high level of performance at the BW PASE Academy with great retention and success rates, and we look forward to continuing this level of success with our new partners at SCL.
“It’s now for the BW PASE Academy and SCL to get to work on our partnership and delivering a top-class service for the Academy recruits for next season and beyond. We are very excited for this new chapter at the BW PASE Academy.” Garrard concluded.
