JOIN THE NEW GENERATION FOR FREE

19 September 2017

Having recently re-launched the Wednesday After-School Football Coaching, Boreham Wood will be giving all players who attend tomorrow a FREE child’s ticket and £10 admission for their parent, or guardian to Saturday’s must-see clash with Ebbsfleet United.

The Wood first team are back at Meadow Park on Saturday for the first time since breaking their record league attendance against Leyton Orient. 1,920 supporters turned up to watch the Wood fire past the former Football League outfit and Boreham Wood want to encourage a new generation of supporters.

The regular Wednesday coaching sessions have been a huge success since they restarted at the end of the school holidays, and as such, the club will be giving all of the young players a free ticket to Boreham Wood vs Ebbsfleet. The parent, or guardian, of the child will also receive a ticket granting them a reduced £10 entry into the fixture.

The coaching is for children aged 3-11 years-old and is split into three separate age groups. The first is ‘Little Learners’ (4-4.30pm), for children aged 3-5 years old, focusing on the basics of football.

The second group ‘Junior Trainers’ (4-5pm), is for ages 6-8, and focuses on the next step in the children’s development, covering a wider range of skills. The third group is ‘Future Stars’ (4-5pm), for children aged 9-11, which covers all basic and more advanced techniques, as well as match related drills to improve the player’s understanding of formations, movement and communication.

All sessions end with small sides games, allowing the players to showcase what they have learnt.

Boreham Wood’s coaches are experts in player progression and provide the children with fun-filled sessions that enhance their development. The courses take place every Wednesday and provide the perfect way to entertain your children when the school day finishes.
