Following on from Luke Garrards promotion to first team manager. The club has restructured its management teams accordingly underneath..

Cameron Mawer who already works for the club as a full time head coach within our PASE Scheme, has been promoted up to reserve team manager with immediate effect.

Cameron has a wealth of experience as a player, having started his career at Grays  and played for Weymouth, Arlesey and Biggleswade along the way. He also won the FA Trophy while at Grays Athletic in 2005-06

He has worked at Boreham Wood Football Club now for over three seasons and has started his reserve management career with a real bang. Firstly by beating St Albans City reserves comprehensively 7-1 at their Clarence Park home in the Herts Intermediate Cup.

On Mawer’s appointment first team gaffer Luke Garrard said “Cameron brings with him a wealth of experience. He’s also full time at the club and as such it makes sense to promote him up, as he gets the much needed contact time with our younger players”..

“We are obviously looking to improve every part of our club in the coming months and these full time appointments in key areas, are now going to be an important part of our thinking going forward”.. Garrard concluded.
